Step Five - Seek God's Kingdom and Righteousness

Understanding what it means to live with Kingdom purpose and pursue God above all else

Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Most of us know the verse. Very few of us have been taught what it actually looks like to walk it out.

In our fifth step from Wilderness to Wisdom, we look at what it means to live as a Kingdom citizen. The Kingdom isn’t just a place we go when we die. It’s God’s government, His authority, His culture being lived out here on Earth. When we seek it first, our prayers shift from “God, bless what I’m doing” to “God, show me how to walk according to Your will.” Our values start aligning with Heaven’s, and we begin to trust that God will take care of what we need because that’s what Kingdom citizens can expect from their King.

This is also where we decide there’s no Plan B. Trusting God fully means we stop keeping backup plans.

We’re walking in correction, not perfection. This is where everything begins to fall into place.
